Goals/CIP

Lake Belton High School fosters student discourse, productive struggle, rigorous instruction, and a positive classroom culture. Student discourse involves respectful communication and collaboration, tactile learning, real-world connections, and student ownership of learning. Productive struggle supports students as they grapple with challenging problems, building perseverance and critical thinking. High-quality, rigorous instruction uses data to inform engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with TEKS, emphasizing higher-level thinking and authentic assessment. Finally, a positive classroom culture creates a safe, respectful environment where all students feel valued and supported in achieving high expectations.
