Welcome to Lake Belton High School!
Lake Belton High School, located in Temple, Texas, is a premier educational institution built on a foundation of Pride, Community, and Trust. As a proud member of the Belton Independent School District, we are committed to providing a transformative educational experience that prepares students for college and career success. This dedication is reflected in our recent achievement of an "A" rating in the Texas state accountability ratings, a testament to the hard work and collaboration of our students, staff, and families. Our campus is a testament to our commitment to 21st-century learning. The 394,000-square-foot facility is designed to foster a collegiate environment, with a focus on flexible and collaborative learning spaces. Lake Belton High School opened in the fall of 2020 with ninth- and tenth-grade students. The first Bronco senior class of approximately 450 students graduated in 2023. The school is accredited by the Texas Education Agency. Our school operates on a traditional schedule with 50-minute class periods, providing a consistent and predictable learning environment. In addition to academic classes, we offer an advisory period each day, designed to foster student well-being, academic success, and social development. The total enrollment at Lake Belton High School for the 2025-2026 school year is close to 2,300 students with a staff of approximately 200 professionals. Enrollment for the class of 2026 is approximately 530 students.
